If your tiles are pitted and old we will apply a coat of Regent High Build Sealer as the first coat to ensure all the pitted areas are sealed which will provide a smoother surface for us to be able to apply the 2 top coats too. By applying this particular paint on first you will not have to be worried that the following coats will just soak into the tile. Rather the final coats will have a nice smooth surface to be applied to allowing for peak performance. If your roof tiles have been previously painted and are reasonably smooth we will elect to use Regent Maxi Primer as the first coat. This is designed to prevent any potential adhesion issues caused by the existing paint.

Our final 2 coats are applied using Regent Tileguard Top Coat which is a high gloss acrylic paint to ensure your roof shines like new.

There is also the opportunity to elect Regent Tileguard Heatguard Paint for your top coats. This is a heat reflective paint which will keep your house cooler during those scorching Melbourne summers.

Our standard practice is a 3 coat system of a Primer/High Build Sealer followed by 2 coats of either standard Regent Tileguard 100% Acrylic Top Coat or Regent Tileguard Heat guard. However, we also offer a 4^th coat option should you decide that you would like to enhance the look even further. The 4^th coat option is called Regent Tileguard Ultra and this paint is designed with a superior dirt resistant technology and an even shinier finish.

We also provide roof painting services for galvanized and colorbond roofs. The process involved here is 1 coat of Regent Maxi Prime which is a perfect etching primer for metal roofs. This is followed up by two coats of Regent Tileguard Topcoat.

We provide colour charts with all our quotes which contain more than enough colours for you to make that all-important choice.
